Just got some alpinestars smx gloves
Mediums felt in-between super fitted and semi tight.. so I went with a large which is basically snug on my palms and my finger tips touch when I make a fist...
Is this a personal preference thing ? I have a slight paranoia that "baggy" gloves can be problematic..

everyone says A*s run small...I normally wear medium gloves, so I tried on large GP Pros, the fingers were too baggy when I wrapped my hand around the grip, so I went with mediums, and wore them in the rain on purpose...they took a bit to break them in to my liking...but now they fit like, well, gloves ;)
for street gloves I am not as picky, and may buy a size up incase I want to wear a liner underneath when it gets chilly
