View Full Version : CSC Annual Noob Ride -- DIRTY SOUTH LINKUP --

Just to help clear some of the confusion from the other thread for us Southies. :drink:

Meetup Place is: Denny's North Academy, right next to the I-25 onramp. Plenty of gas/food to top off with.

Route: As much as I hate riding I-25, I figure this is probably the quickest route to get to Denver that ISN'T going to be the route we ride back, UNLESS that's what everybody wants to do.

Time: I figure we meet up about 7:30ish, KSU by 8:00, gives us the better part of an hour to get to MoCo by 9:00, so we can be KSU with everyone else 9:30 to head back home. ;)

Please respond to this thread if you plan on making it. I'll make a list and make sure we don't leave anybody behind the day of.

Please respond with screen name AND bike type/color so that we can recognize you when you show up.

IF YOU HAVE any suggestions about the route or times, please post them here and we can change anything! I've never been to MoCo so I don't know how to get there other than Google Maps. Hopefully somebody from the South might volunteer to lead the way up there.

Thanks in advance guys, this is going to be my first actual ride with the CSC and I'm definitely looking forward to it. :silly:

So, expecting at least six of us total. I plan on heading up that way in about 30 minutes. I'm down waaay South though and it takes at least 20 minutes to get there.

Sarge, I agree with you on the monotonous I-25, but like you said, it will be the easiest and fastest. :)

No, I'm staying for the ride, lol. But if you check the planned route it basically ends at our linkup spot.

Someone did jump in with us at this point at almost exactly that time, but they kept going when we hit 470.

Great ride guys. Nothing too technical, but it was fun, and the weather was great the entire time.
