Just wondering if anyone knows a good, easy-to-use product to record yourself speaking while riding? The mic would have to fit easily in a full-face helmet and it should be easy to turn on and off while wearing gloves.

I'm going to have the need to record some thoughts and reminders on some longer trips I'm taking on the bike and have never looked into a product like this. Does something exist? For those of you that also have this need, what do you use?

Thanks!

There's bound to be some wireless device that will work. I used to scout a week-long bicycle tour on my FZR.....would have come in very handy.

Depending on your phone, I bet there's an app for that... for use with a bluetooth headset or something.

If you have a bluetooth connected phone you could voice dial your own VM and leave yourself a message. :)

Excellent ideas, I'll have to check into the phone thing.

It dawned on me that I have a nice Olympus hand-held recorder that I used at band practice all the time. I can probably buy a cheap little remote mic for that and velcro it inside my helmet. I may try that as well and see if I can work it while riding.

Thanks guys!

Frank, it would be very scary to hear what happens in that noggin of yours. I'll just wait for the movie... :scramble:
