Would have liked to join some of the rides for the weekend, but none of you ride down by me. I rode from Pueblo down I25 to Exit 56, then up CO 69 to Westcliffe, then continued on the 69 back to Pueblo. It was a gorgeous ride, and weather was good too. Roads weren't the best, and it was windy, but man it was nice to get out.

Nice shots, looks like you had more sun than we got in the Denver foothills.

Keep an eye out for posts that go to Bishop's Castle- most folks like to stop at the Shell in Penrose before heading to Florence! You could always meet up with people there.

We need to get another ride through there sometime next month or July when the wind isn't kicking our ass.

Totally. :D

As for the paint, I was wondering since it looked too dark to the be the slower copper color and yet too light to be the red that came out in 05.

Yah my roommates dog had a bite to eat on my fenders. I considered repainting it the stock color (Copper), but the copper they used isn't a nice color. The color itself is ok, but it is really shallow with absolutely no depth. So I custom designed my own copper, which had a slightly darker hue. It got 4 stages paint, 4 stages clear, then the solid gold leaf graphics, then another 4 stages clear. It was a ton of work, but the color is so much better than the stock one, yet still not being over the top. I love it!
