So, I cleaned my garage on Sunday and found 3 old ES-9BS batteries. One probably came from my ZX-6R (so it has been sitting for a year) and the other 2 from my wife's scooter, which hasn't even been STARTED for 2 years.

All 3 were taken out because they wouldn't charge and are likely sulfated. I plan to get the scooter running again, so I need a battery. I didn't know about these 'desulfating' chargers, but I just ordered a Tecmate reconditioning and will give it a try. If I can revive even 1 of the 3 batteries, the charger will have paid for itself.

I will post back my results and I was curious if anyone has any experience with these.

I've seen them do pretty amazing things. At an old shop we tested one by making it go DEAD. As in it read .01 VDC with no load on it. Let it sit for a couple of days, then hooked it up. Took it two days but it brought it back and as far as I know that battery is still working in a guy's bike.
