ok,
by show of hands:hibye: let me see how many here would be interested in doing some 1/4 mile grudge runs at Bandemere with me at this years KBPIs annual rock&roll car show.
$3 lousy bucks per run!! tha't alotta bang for the buck kids.
All proceeds go to the Colorado Childrens hospital.
I'll gather any interested Northie hopefuls at Thorco that morning and ride to MOCO to hopefully find many of your smiling, ready to haul some ass faces to then cruise on over to the speedway.
If your not feeling like running the drag strip just ride along to support the cause and watch some of us realize how fast our bikes really are
(or not)
exact times to be determined depending the responses to this feeler.
let's shmoke some rubba! it's all for the kids!:)

here the deets:

Grudge runs will be fun
But be prepared to sit in the staging lanes forever!
This big of an event will be packed !!!

If my old bike is "freshened" up by then, I may bring it. But for now, can't commit for sure yet.

only if your bike has a kickstand :banghead:I would always bolt my kickstand back on for the strip. Nothing worse than sitting on your bike the whole time in the lanes. Plus, the lanes are pretty steep down hill, holding the brake sucks, too!!

Would love to go, but past experience says, WAAAAY TOO CROWDED!!!!! It's hard enough to get four or five runs in on a normal night...

It'd be fun, but no promises this Southie will make it. :devil1:

to drag or not to drag
that is the question
lol Sara:)
good things come to those who wait Dean:wait:
having participated in the CSC St Paddies parade and it's staging area from hell this ought to be no problem from the standpoint of waiting to play,
then going 150 rather than 1.5 mph and not getting one's Ass lit by a Leo for layin down some rubber makes it even more worth the wait.

remember this is only a test

I was on the fence about moving it, but ultimately did (and changed the title so it was more apropos).
