FYI Only. Came across this on-line... be safe out there this weekend!

In an effort to protect our community from impaired drivers, the Colorado Springs Police Department will be coordinating a multi-jurisdictional sobriety checkpoint during the evening of May 27th, 2011. The coordination and implementation of this checkpoint is being conducted in association with the Colorado Department of Transportation’s (CDOT) Checkpoint Colorado Campaign. This educational program, and increased enforcement through CDOT’s High Visibility Enforcement program, is designed to decrease the number of intoxicated drivers on Colorado roadways during the summer holiday season and is commonly known as “100 Days of Heat.” All drivers contacted as a result of this sobriety checkpoint will be briefly stopped so that law enforcement officials can determine if they are operating their car under the influence of alcohol or other drugs. If no impairment is found, drivers will quickly be on their way.

All seriousness, be safe out there and don't drink and ride or drive.
