I recently did a valve adjustment (thanks Spooph) and had to get 5 new shims. I went to RMK and they said they were $6 each, then $11 each, and once they rang it up they were $15 each so I left to find a better price somewhere else. I went to CO Powersports (Boulder) since it was close and was pleasantly surprised!
CO Powersports has a shim exchange, free of charge. Bring in your misfit shims and trade it for the sizes you need. Best part was they let you look through the collection and pick out and measure them yourself so you know they're good. Though I might add, most of their shims ended in .02mm and .08mm, not many of the .05mm but a fair amount of .00mm.
