I just want to take a moment to thank all of you who came out to participate in Racing 2 Save Lives, both as riders and volunteers! We had over 250 people ride in the event during the week, and as of Sunday afternoon have raised over $130,000 in donations and we're still counting! We won't have a grand total for another month or so while pledges and other donations still come in.

A lot of the riders have been asking when they can see their laptimes and lap counts from the event. We ask that everyone please be patient, there is a lot of data and we need to make sure it gets pulled into the database accurately. All participants will receive an email just as soon as it's available on our website. Likewise, those who pledged towards a rider for a per-mile amount will be invoiced as soon as we know what that amount will be. We anticipate all of this happening during this week.

We need to extend a huge thanks to the sponsors and companies who helped to make our second-annual event a reality! This would not have happened without their generosity.

I am sure we'll be making more announcements and things later on, but I wanted to make sure I thanked everyone who came out. We blew the doors off last year's event, and we're *already* planning for 2006!

Thank you from the entire R2SL Staff!

I think it's cool that we had so many participants... that it REQUIRED having split sessions.

I can't wait to see how next year's event turns out.

It was indeed a blast! Definitely next year I'll be doing a whole day! Hopefully it's at PPIR again as well since it's so rare that anyone gets to ride it let alone us non-racers.

The charities supported by R2SL are great causes and definitely worth the time, effort, and money.
