So I crashed pretty good a week or so ago. Destroyed the water pump cover on my DRZ, got a new one and installed it (cover, new bolts, hose, and gasket) but its still leaking. The water pump "bracket" looks cracked too (the piece under the cover) so it looks like I will be replacing the entire water pump assembly since you can't just buy that bracket :( ....anyways what else do I need to get this job done? I think I need a gasket for the side engine cover since it has to come off to access the water pump. Anything else, and what is that gasket called? :(

Purchase the ThumperTalk case savers. That motor is brittle magnesium and cracks if you laugh at it too hard.

Bring it over to my house, leave it for 1-2 years, and I will return it to you completely fixed.

Already have case savers, thats not what cracked :( I should have had a better skid plate (did buy one the other day with more coverage).

Wow, that sucks man. I hope you find a cost effective fix for your leak.

I think a new water pump assembly will get the job done (fingers crossed). Just over $100 :(

If it was my other bike I'm sure it would be just over $1000
