And what else does one do after taking an SRT8 on a road trip?

I would love to take some together one day. Even know you are my feared enemy.

Look nice. maybe invest in a polarizing filter to get rid of some of those reflections

Do you have TBSS? Either way sounds good, just bring the camera, because my point and shoot isn't the best ever.

I would love to spend some money and get a better camera and be a decent photographer, but my priorities are all wacked.

Na I have a Lightning. You guys are hard to keep up with. Mainly from a dig. Love the pics but like you I am no pro I point and shoot also.
BTW the TBSS doesn't really suprise me unless someone has alot done to it or a big shot of gas.

Ya these things just explode off the line. But if you've got a couple mods, or a single one named KB, you should be able to handle me from a roll. I love getting next to the TBSS, they think they stand a chance :yumyum:

Here's a couple more from the trip home. The first pic was the highest elevation I reached, and probably the highest Nav-photographed on the SRT8 forum. It should be noted the SRT8 is pathetic at 7,000ft and climbing. It took forever to redline 3rd. A hard climb from about 7,000 to 11,000ft resulted in the following oil temp (I actually hit 260, but didn't get the camera out in time). I was cornering hard, and WOT damn near the whole trip up the pass. I never did get into 4th, none of the straights were long enough. Normal oil temps are 225-235 on my Jeep, and I've only seen higher than 240 once or twice. I'm guessing the SRT8 does not have a water/oil cooler, seeing as the coolant temps are barely over 200 (Which is just a bit higher than normal for me, I'm normally glued at 200.

The answer to this problem is forced induction.

No doubt, I have actually been considering building a twin turbo kit for it. When I do I'll go all out, but that'll take more time and money than I have right now.
