Two years ago I had the stator go out on my VFR800. This was after 2 years and 1 month with 28000 miles. Now tonight I lose charging again, it is 2 years almost to the day and 23000 miles. I have not diagnosed yet to confirm it is the stator, but if it is I think in a year and 11 months I will just order one to have it on hand...
