That was pretty cool to go to. That Chip Yates bike was insane... 394 ft lbs of torque, and it said the only reason it stopped accelerating at 190 (and set the record) was because it was weaving badly.

That was the bike they took up the mountain. Tires are slicks on the side for good traction on pavement, but have slots in them like that for catching grip on the dirt (rear looks the same, I talked to the wrench for this team on Thursday when they were in front of Apex.)

Thread jack. Here's a link of Bobby Regester and his superstock car sliding over the edge of the road backwards and rolling down the mountain for a while at the hill climb Sunday. Thankfully he was ok. It was a great view of several miles of the track from Devil's Playground.
