I have Thursday the 30th off and it seems like a crime to waste all that sunshine. Anybody up for a ride tomorrow. Id rather go in the morning before the heat gets out of control but Im game for whatever.

what time you thinking???

I might be down to get out for a few hours. Then again, I might just go solo.

Post up some details and I guess I'll see what's up in the morning.

I did Deer Canyon, up through Black Hawk and up to Estes last Sunday so thinking about heading south. Thinking leaving around 9 AM from the Circle K at Chatfield and Wadsworth. Deer Canyon to Jefferson and then South on County Rd 77. Im open to any ideas though. I dont know my way around the canyons very well yet. Still just exploring.

Avoid Park County 77/Tarryall Road. It is seriously chewed up south of Jefferson, beginning at around mile #7, for 14 miles. The re-engineering project will last all summer, and the road is down to one dirt lane.

Ended up going south of Salida on 67, through Deckers, Woodland Park, and then made my first run up to 14110 feet of Pikes Peak. The mountain views were fricken incredible, even if it was spittin rain.
It must take some serious stones to race up that mo fo!
