I'm pitting with Dylan Hayle, we both have gennies, so we'll do a carport without power. We're each doing 1/2 day, so if two people are looking for shade, let me know.

Also, does anyone know if you can reserve a carport online? They don't have power only options in the drop-downs...

FWIW, generators are not allowed in the carport or RV areas. One of the reasons people pay for the power is to avoid generator noise.

Awesome time today. Thanks to Dave for hauling my ass out there, Mike for showing me the right way to go through 6 & 11 and the extra help, and especially to the corner workers & medics braving the heat. :D

I haven't watched all my videos yet, but from 1 video I hit 2:08.9. Last year in my first time at HPR I only mustered up a 2:16. MUCH better this time around. :D

What started out kind of crappy, late start, having to coordinate with my father, etc, turned into the best time I've ever had on a motorcycle.

The Honda RS125 is savage fun to ride. I couldn't help myself.. screaming enthusiasm in my helmet the first couple laps, riding faster and with more confidence than ever before. I did about 10 laps on it. Now it's time to take it apart and figure out how all the worky bits go together..

The aprilia feels like a butter knife to the Honda's laser beam.

Now if only I can run/pedal another 15-20lbs off of my body. I feel pretty sloppy at 6' and 165lbs. I know for a fact I can get down to 148lbs.. I thought the bike might be too small, but I didn't experience any insurmountable problems with moving around on it.

What tires are you running on the R Goose? I just got a set of the 2ct's for my GSXR1K and really like them on the street and in the mountains! Would love to go out to one of HPR's track days as soon as I get a full zipper put on my jacket/pants and a new set of gloves. What does it run for bikes for a half day?

Some of my cycling buddies are 5'10" and 130lbs.. I am not technically "underweight," from what my doctor tells me, until about 145lbs or whenever I start feeling "funny."

At 148lbs the only "funny" I feel is hungry, which isn't half the addiction that nicotene is, which thankfully I've stopped consuming as of a couple weeks ago. LOLOLOL. OCD baby.

Thanks! Should get faster next time out too. Applehans worked with me a little on the last session and told me some places I need to work on. So hopefully with those, I can get better drives out of 3a & b, and also out of 6.

You will get faster! Your lines overall were good and for you 2nd time at HPR, I would be very happy. Next time we will work more together. I guarantee if you work on what we talked about you will drop a few more seconds fairly easy.

I was watching the other videos, especially the last session and I could see that I was a lot faster on that last lap that we passed Nikol, just from following your lines. Can't wait to get back out there.

Wicky! Hi, I was wondering how fast you were going on those corners?? I was watching this video and it just looks wooooah! Adrenaline pumping and making me wanna try track for sure.
The more I watch it, the more it teases me and pushes me to wanna just do it.

I never looked down at the speedo through the corners, I did look on the straight and it said 140 w/ the speedo healer. There's people way faster than I am, so my video isn't all that great.
