Doesn't look too bad, were the forks tweaked?

Just wondering because my insurance didn't total over $5000 of damage on my bike, they just paid out... No damage to frame or forks though.

nope nothing was bent except the exhaust mostly cosmetic but $6700 in labar and repair cost totaled it there was a dent from the muffler on the swing arm

Insurance will total a bike at X% of value, depending on the insurance carrier (typically around 75%).

So, for an older/cheaper bike $6700 will definitely total it, for a newer pricier bike like a $20k Ducati or KTM $5,000 isn't enough

I feel you, I've had a shitty month. Crashed bike, dropped bike, broken speakers, moving, costs associated with settling in >.<, and now my Suunto Observer band literally just broke :'(.

it cost around $1700 to buy her back. She did have alot of work into her but still needed alot of work. I probably could have fixed her up, There was no major damage just alolt of minor damage like big dent on the back of the muffler and it needed new fairings, new head light, flashers and brake lights didnt work so I figure id get a new bike

It's never fun seeing your bike get hauled away on a tow truck. :(
