Gas powered bikes the minority

I remember when 4-strokes overtook 2-strokes in motorcross. What year do you think electric bikes will overtake gas powered street bikes when comparing units sold to the average consumer?

As soon as we have a major breakthrough in consumer battery technology, with current tech its not feasible :(

yup, once we can get 1,000 miles to a charge, with a dead-to-full charge in 4 hours, i think that would be reasonable... oh, and outlets in parking lots EVERYWHERE.... Big Oil will never let it happen, IMO.
