Last Sunday I was riding home and all was well. I got stuck at a light for I think around 5 min, in 90+ degrees, on a very steap hill. When I pulled away I could not tell if the bike was starved or flooded. I barley got home but when I did I parked in the shade shut off the fuel and went inside for about 5 min. When I came back out all seemed well. I've gone for a few short short rides and it seems normal. I've been tod that carbed bikes can vapor lock but not sure what that means or how to prevent it. Thanks for any help you can give. I'm also wondering if anyone out their is willing to school a yound rider on some older tech.

Yes Vapor lock is fuel heating up and evaporating causing kinda a blood clot in the fuel system check your tank vents man its always easier for me to show than explain. But what kind of bike is it?

Its a 95 zx750 ninja. I just put a factory gas cap on because the vortex wasn't vented.
