There will be extra drivers along the routes up to Aug 22nd and the routes will be blocked off.

If anyone is coming to stage 6, bring your pedal bike as one of the better vantage points will be along Lookout when they are heading up. They are allowing non-motorized vehicles up till the riders to the base of the hill.

"follow the peloton" Yeah right! Maybe for about 8 seconds and then get dropped like you were never there. It's more like, "Pay $2250 to start with the race and then have a bike ride by yourself for the rest of the stage."

Hoping to check some of this out!

The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), Colorado State Patrol (CSP) and the U.S. Forest Service have announced the approval of limited camping along the route of the USA Pro Cycling Challenge. This decision will provide fans with unprecedented access to the best professional cyclists in the world. In true Tour de France style, fans can bike, walk or park along the state highways -- ensuring they follow the approved guidelines (http://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?llr=kldmnpbab&et=1106819711792&s=1533&e=0010prdPedZs5GUwj3eTPoXQYzgjpktAapelWwzP6SKPrOlo VuUnJcsveFmupoFiQl-FtQsbCW2kNwPTrfszLY46njwcRe2Fo9YlA9Zerfbn16r6DsMGT b6iTUwzo-X9dttpFQe7ME5D1_7j184HudKBz-8f6MKy-kcJP3qZvWiIsc5p5olX52_GLbqDPXmnRXJ) -- and reserve their premier viewing spot no more than 24 hours in advance of the race. The course will remain open to bicyclists and pedestrians until the lead vehicles of the race caravan arrives, typically two to three hours before the riders. CDOT has also released information about how the race will impact road travel in host communities and along the route. More information on camping and road impacts (http://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?llr=kldmnpbab&et=1106819711792&s=1533&e=0010prdPedZs5GUwj3eTPoXQYzgjpktAapelWwzP6SKPrOlo VuUnJcsveFmupoFiQl-FtQsbCW2kNwPTrfszLY46njwcRe2Fo9YlA9Zerfbn16r6DsMGT b6iTUwzo-X9dttpFQe7ME5D1_7j184HudKBz-8f6MKy-kcJP3qZvWiIsc5p5olX52_GLbqDPXmnRXJ) can be found on our website. Thanks to the many Colorado state departments helping Colorado shine during the Pro Challenge!
