I've recently learned how to count cards at black jack and have been going up to Blackhawk on Thursdays or Fridays. Since i live in Aurora it's an awesome ride. Wondering if anyone else knows how to count cards and can help me out with it, plus the ride up is always sweet too!! :grab:

Just don't let it become an addiction or you'll be in for some major pocket draining action lol

No so far i've been really good at walking away while i'm up but there has been a few times where i had to leave empty handed. I just want to find some other people interested in it as well. It really helps at the table if everyone's beating the dealer.

What system are you using?

Just the Hi-Lo system. I'm doing pretty good at keeping a running count but keeping the true count is getting a bit tough especially while sitting at the table and keeping a straight face.

Not a big blackjack player, but a ride up to Blackhawk would be sweet and I could work on my craps game and teach anyone who doesn't know how to play and win some cash money! :bananna:

I am a big craps player. If I want to just drink for free I play the Fremont street grind. But I have won big with some good rollers. Would love to go up but I am broke.

I'm no good at counting cards, and haven't been gambling since they brought in craps tables. I'm not sure there's more fun gambling than a hopping craps table... would make for a great ride/day!

they do kick you out im banned and lux, and Excalibur and a few others in Vegas, and after 40 min i usually have the pit boss standing and watching

they don't cut you off as fast here because the limit is so low but ive been warned
had them re-shoe and change dealer 3 times in 20 min a couple of times in BH

Waits for ~Barn~ to chime in :wait: or for someone to cause drama and say card counting is illegal and how dare this be posted on a public site (which it is not illegal, just not allowed at Casinos and will get you banned for life).

Serious hit up ~Barn~ he loves to go to Blackhawk!

I play blackjack myself and never really studied the card counting technique. My technique at the blackjack table is to double up on the first $100 and walk away. Seems the only way I can walk away a winner! Other than that the longer you stay odds are against you. And the slot machines in Blackhawk are a joke, I stay away from them.....

only good slots in blackhawk are the nickel easy to turn 5 dollers in to 60

Sounds fun, but I have no idea how to count cards. Anyone want to mentor? :P

Also, how about a CSC poker night with like a $20 buy in. Would be fun :)

I had a decent run hunting fish multi-tabling poker on the major sites before the Feds came in. I was pretty much playing everyday, lol. This is a like the first time in years I haven't been playing. I was fortunate enough to withdraw what I had in my account before the raid haha.

Why play at the major sites you mean?

lol my bad, I thought araps and the zone were smaller poker sites. Are they bars? I'm underage.

It's a deferent game than live. No expressions, just pure math plays. Because you can go through hundreds of hands in a small duration, you see some ridiculous hands, so you have to be careful not to tilt haha. Plus I regularly played 8 tables at a time, so I saw some crazy hands that seemed unrealistic, but it comes down to the fact so much hands are being played in a short duration of time. Also, I was making money in the long run, so that's all that mattered to me haha. When you're exposed to thousands of hands a session, you could either win or lose a lot more money than live in the same duration. If you're a long run winning player you should make money.

I'm in Aurora, too. Hit me up next time you go, Scatterbrain.

I won $100 on single-deck blackjack at The Lodge last week.

I'll be whitewater rafting all day Thursday (8/3), but I don't have any plans for Friday (8/4).

Y they're bars near Englewood. It's all different, real money online, play money online, real money in person and play money in person.

The most I've walked away with in one night on a craps table was 750 in 2 hours. I had a killer roll and some mom and daughter rolled for 40min EACH.

I apologize man, I still don't understand what you're asking. I must be missing something. Are you asking why I don't play live at bars? In addition to liking online cause it's fast pace, I'm too young to play where they sell liquor. However, I'm 18+ so It's legal for me to play $$$ poker.

None of them stupid plastic chips too :gay: lol. I have a decent set. clay chips, flip the mat over and you got a roulette table. The poker case is a roulette wheel haha.

Oh noes they took away my "yearly supporter" lol. Must have expired.
