He didn't even get into the corner, so no trail braking. Looked like he thought he was going in too hot and grabbed more brake than usual?

That was pretty weird.

Well he was leaning before it happened. Maybe he just had 100% brakes and never let go, breaking the balance?

That's what I was thinking. Not trail braking but "oh shit" braking based on the line. Hope el rider is ok! He hit the ground pretty hard.

"oh shit" braking based on the line.

Oh now I see what you guys are saying. After all, that is a blind corner. makes sense

Too much front brake going into lean angle. Should have been trailing off the brake at this point. A little off line

Think your right. If you watch it a couple times it almost looks like he starts to turn in but picks it up just for a second turns back in then realizises "oh shit" and too much front brake.

well. IMO, it looks like his left arm is straight(too much input) and before the front wheel locks/blocks you can see a faint line of rubber from his front tire.
i think he let off the brakes too soon, went in too hot and was braking way too hard. turn 13 falls away as soon as you crest it. and it also looks a little dirty where the tire finally gave out.
either way, his left shoulder has to hurt : (

Looks like some kind of fluid on the track to me.

there is a rough spot of pavement that tends to lack grip, but he went down before that

+1

Looks like that front tire, regardless of braking pressure, just let go and the bike went with it.

thats silty dirt, because you shouldnt be out there in the first place, unless you blow your entrance from going in too hot.

on camber turn+too much brake on a silty dirty part of the track = what happened
