There were eight students and three instructors for my 2-day course. We got 2009/10 R6's. It was awesome and really helped me get over my loss of confidence from my spills. Shane Turpin was also one of the instructors and that was cool to see a familiar face. Best money spent on the sport period. Was referred by Tammy with Vanmar when I was on the fence about giving up my racing aspirations. One of the things the lead instructor drove home was, don't be an emotional rider. Be a technical rider, and don't throw away your lap after missing an apex. Trail brake, drop in, and get on it. Only think about the next portion of track. They also did a malfunction, "unique" scenario exercise. My favorite one, was apparently Shane wanted to let me try something different. My R6 was on fire, and I had to hop on the FZ1 instructor bike and ride side-saddle as quickly as possible. THAT was fun, dragging knee on that was crazy, but not as fun as passing people while doing it!

I recommend it for sure. If I could afford it, I'd be signed up to do the next 3-day.

Yeah, I was starting to feel so much more comfortable and trust my tires/suspension again.

Bad news: It was SLC, UT and was $2295. (Miller Motorsports Park)

Good news: They will come to you if you get more than 11 people and the people you get, the cheaper it is.
