WHAT IS A SMYL?
SMYL is an acronym for “Sustainable Module for Yeomanic Learning,” an instruction on a particular subject.
It’s “Sustainable” because once you learn it, you never unlearn it – it becomes part of you and sustains the mind in a stable state of happiness.
It’s a “Module” because it’s brief and easy to digest.
It’s “Yeomanic” because it’s written in plain language easily comprehended by anyone.
It’s “Learning” because… well, we think that’s self-explanatory!
WHAT IS A LAF?
LAF is an acronym for “Learning Attainment Fundamental,“ a simple task that correlates with a given SMYL and reinforces the teaching.
While they are optional, Nexus Humanus recommends that you complete each LAF if you wish to achieve Sustainable Happiness. LAFs are worth a significant amount of H-Creds, which you will need to ascend each Happiness Level.
WHAT IS AN UPCHK?
UPCHK is an acronym for “Understanding Procedure Check,“ a five-question multiple-choice quiz carefully designed to ensure proper understanding of each SMYL.
UPCHKs must be successfully competed to progress to the next Happiness Level.
