Empire-WP-Estes Vs ID-BH-Ned-Estes?

Anyone run these routes recently, and any feedback on their condition and/or which (in your mind) is better?

I usually prefer Empire-WP-Estes since I like stopping at the lakes to stretch, but CC-BH-Ned is slightly twistier (though I think it's more traffic-y on the weekends due to the casinos).
