Very cool. My parents have a 1964 they've had since then. Neat little car. Hope you enjoy yours.

Walk away. That thing's a rust bomb waiting to explode, I'd never put anyone I loved in that deathtrap...

Keep looking, you'll find a better one...

Only if you look at it from a distance, and not underneath...

I love '65 Falcons! Never owned one and that's a regret.

Only if you look at it from a distance, and not underneath... Wow, yeah you if you go to the ad and check out underneath pics this nice wagon becomes scary

36K miles is crazy for a 62', but must have been sitting in a lake!

Says in the ad that the Speedo doesn't work, so chances are the Odo doesn't either...and, I'm not sure, but in a 62 the odo might only read to 99,999 anyway (so it could've rolled and be at 136k)

Or, the original owner fell through the floor and died and they only recovered the car recently...

looks like if you opened all the doors at the same time it would implode since that is the only structural suport in the entire car!

Meh, that's not really that tough to fix. Little sheet metal, a 289, and a drop...call it a day. Wagons ftw

the floor isn't all that bad for a 62...but not worth 8k...now down to 7k...

they couldn't even put new springs on it...

but on a unibody car, the rockers were most of the structure, and normally pretty heavy and galvinized...

I would never haul a family in an old vehicle, have you ever seen old vehicles crashes tested...typically nothing left of them. Advances in how cars can take an impact have improved a 1000 fold since 1967...LOL

This is just 9 years difference:

yeah...but new cars lack something...oh yeah...everything cool

I took my drivers test in a 71 dart, in 2002. its safety features included a lap belt, a "padded" dash, and a collapsable steering column. I upgraded the brakes to manual disk/drum, and put manual steering on it...and after all new poly bushings, it was one of the best driving and feeling cars I've ever driven. Granted the car doesn't drive itself, but I think people are the part of the equation that makes driving unsafe...not the car.
