An added benefit of AWD is that the front wheel does not want to wash out. When a front end tucks, the wheel stalls, stops turning, and begins to push. With the AWD system, as soon as the wheel begins to stall, power is delivered to the front wheel, forcing it to turn. With the front wheel under power, it is nearly impossible to wash out the front end.

I am very curious as to how it will affect my riding style on the dirt. The concept is awesome. I would like to test ride one and see how it feels. . .

We had one at the shop as a demo to see if the shop wanted to promote and/or sell them, but I never got to ride it.

Interested!

IIRC Yamaha had something similar at the Paris Dakar some years ago.

Think 4WD on vs. 4WD off in a snow storm. Just power thru it and both ends stick.
