Does anyone know of a good fork seal lubricant for the exterior of the fork seals. I've got some that are starting to look like their drying out some. Just hoping to prolong their life before tearing the front apart to replace them.

Thanks

I've found blinker fluid highly effective for this

Armor All, Original Polish...but they'll really just make it look pretty if they're already cracking.

Don't use and cleaner or polish as it will only make it worse. I believe the product is "Prime Shine" maybe "Prime and Shine". We drop old, hard, dry rubber carb boots in it over night and it significantly restores the rubber, and re-rejuvenates the elasticity and other big words.

But on a fork dust seal... I wouldn't worry about it as this is a good indication that the oil seals will probably start leaking soon due to age.
