Aprilia Tuono V4R Insurance?

Just for shits and giggles, I asked my insurance co for a quote. I currently have full coverage on my FZ1 for about $248/yr. Identical coverage on the Aprilia was quoted at $3500/yr. :x :down:

That is crazy, my 09 Tuono is about $320/yr for full coverage. I really dont think V4 vs V2 would make a difference, both are 1000cc

Insurance prices on those bikes flucuate like CRAZY. GEICO and Progressive both wanted to charge me $3000-$6000 a year on my RSV, I finally settled with Dairyland for $800 year, full coverage with $250 deducts. No tickets/no accidents/age 25.

2010 S1000RR, Progressive 2k a year (full), Geico 4k a year (full), State Farm, 820 a year (full).. totall loss on the 2010 so re-insured 2011 S1k with State Farm, $850 year (full). Shop around.
