it appears as is you run a piece of all thread though the steering stem. kinda cheesy, and doesn't let you use a front stand.

I bought one of these (http://www.bracketron.com/products/mobile-dock-it-universal-cup-holder-mount), took the base off and it fits in my steering stem. cheap and easy, and tested to 120mph w/ the iPhone on it.
