If I go It'll be on my cruiser , lol. My sportbike isn't street legal atm. The more I ride the cruiser the less chance I'll be riding a sport bike on the street again. When I want the thrill I'll go to the track.

I'll be there. The MRA is having a display and a mock race around 1 pm. They are looking for MRA racers to help out. Post up on the MRA forum if you think you can be there to support the club and an event at our local track.

I'm pretty sure I'll be going. If I see a group of sportbikes heading that way I may attach myself to the rear from a distance lol.

eh I got working on my bike. By the time I was done there was only two hours left, so I just ended up riding around in circles :loop:. The wind during that time on I-25 was getting bad anyway. If anyone did make it, it would be nice to see some pics and review on how it went. Thanks.

It went pretty good, I didn’t get many pictures. Almost 30 bikes in the show, choppers, street and race bikes, some really nice bikes. There were two antique bikes on display that you'd never see anywhere else. A 1922 Neracar, and a 1920 Mars, the only one in the US. The stunt team put on a couple of shows that folks really enjoyed. There were a few vendors selling stuff. More than enough food and beer vendors. Not a big crowd of spectators, but a nice constant flow.

Oh yea, about 8 riders representing the MRA put on a mock 14 lap race. Everything from the popular 250 class up to ROR class bikes, expert and novice alike, including a Super Street class bike were on the track. Pretty cool seeing such a wide variety of bikes and rider abilities running at the same time.

Weather couldn't have been better. It was really cool seeing the cross communication between the very different groups of bikers. Cool thing about the location is if the weather goes bad there are garages to keep things warm and dry.

All in all, I'd say it was a good first event. Talk already of a better event next year. Hats off to the PPIR management, and other organizations that put it on.
