 im not concerned about riding in the wind, but the cagers that catch a gust of wind on the side, lose control of the car, and side swipe a rider.

Wind always makes me think of 285. I've always hated that section right after Kenosha pass till about 10 miles before Buena Vista. That's like my wind nemesis. I'll ride in it, and it's actually a very beautiful area, but it's just kind of a pain in the ass.

Speaking of; I stopped at the county clerk today just to break wind and drop a duece. Only time I've ever enjoyed doing business there.

Knew I could count on them for a clean crapper.

Random thoughts, sorry, carry on

I just heard on the radio that I-70 towards Kansas shut down due to wind. At least I'm pretty sure it was 70, it could have been other highways. Well, something out that way is shut down due to wind. Disclaimer: I suck as a news man.

I'm in the E470 and Jewell area, just West of Kansas. It's blowing like a mofo over here.

Hell, Im at Evans and Quebec in Denver just west of Aurora and the wind is blowing so hard its creating a vacuum that is forcing our main doors open. Im also right on Cherry Creek Trail and Ive seen 2 pedalists end up in the creek so far. Its pretty ridiculous out there!

Just take this as an opportunity to top out your speed in an easterly direction.

I rode from Denver to Colorado Springs today. The wind was nasty! I could only ride 50-55 mph.

Luckily our bikes were sitting outside the garage this morning... we woke up to a F***ed up situation.... the whole damn thing was like a kite and blew away even with all the sand bags still attached to it... I think the bikes would have at least fell over if they were in it..... We had 4-100lbs sand bags tied to each corner and it still went tumbling like a tumble weed....
