Just installed my new Termi mufflers. Wow. Love the sound of my bike now. Not a terribly complicated installation. Wonderful.

The Termi music is something to behold. Plus it sounds like things were sorted at FM?

Fay Myers treated me well, and has largely restored my confidence in their ability and courtesy. Thanks.

That's good Greg but I can swear I heard a faint yell...

"Damn, I could have had an MV!"

---Actually, that yell you hear is... I could have had a Kawi Concours. Or a Honda Interceptor (with bags).

But I am very happy with this one. :)

I was talked out of the MV by the salesman there on the basis that parts are more difficult to find for the MV, dealerships are few and far in between.

Well, I'm guessing the salesman made more money on the Duc and that's the real reason lol. My MV is trouble-free and runs like a scalded cheetah. Ducati's are okay though, if you have to settle. ;-)

By the way, I take mine to Mad Moto (Broadway & Belleview) and they specialize in Eye-talian exotica and Steve's a really cool guy. So no problem on servicing the bad boy when it needs it. Parts? Can't argue with you there. Ducati definitely has better parts availability. But the MV was my dream bike and I wasn't going to let that hinder me.

The Concours...it's for fat old guys...and Erik.

As for the Interceptor...JUST DEW EET!!!! My VFR1200 is one of the best motorcycles I can even imagine. I'm amazed at just how good it is every time I ride it. It would be a sweet addition to your Duc as an everyday, all-rounder.

By the way, you know I'm just giving you shit right? I think your Duc is gorgeous and is one of the sweetest superbikes out there. Can't wait to see what the 1099 is like in the flesh. Enjoy!

GuitarX, I know you have a wicked sense of humor. I am happy with my bike, no buyer's remorse or dissatisfaction here. I've always wanted one. Trouble is, I've always wanted a Laverda and a MV, a BMW bagger, and...

Well, I'm sure you get the picture. Maybe after I win the lottery I will complete my collection.

While we're passing out bad jokes, I guess we should start calling Greg......."The Termi-nator" now?:D

Ok, I'll shut up now.........(for a while ;) )

OK. So GuitarX has a wicked sense of humor, CycleMonkey has one too. Glad I met you two guys. You keep me smiling.

Looks nice.

Just curious, Why didn't you go for the new style Termi's? (or is this a 1098?)
