I have a Corbin Carbon Fiber Gunfighter seat for my Blackbird that the seam has come undone. Anyone know a good shop that can repair of recover?

I would hate to through another $450 at a new Corbin.

Thanks

Why not just get a sheepskin cover and then put one of those covers with the little wooden beads over it? :)

I agree, when I bought my first Corbin at the MotoGP Laguna races in '87, it was only about $160 for the whole seat. When I finally went to have the seat recovered in the mid-'90's, they wanted over $250! I found a local guy who made me a new cover with the EXACT same vinyl colors and textures for $40. Piss on them greedy bastids. Good luck, I'll be needing my stock seats redone over the winter.

.Everyone knows wooden beads splinter. Now find me something with recycled plastic and will talk... :)

You could try Alex West (http://gowestseats.com/gowestmain.html). She's south of Aurora.

She shaved and upholstered my SV seat, so she can probably help you out with the repair. Very affordable, and she works out of her house.

Rybo recommended her to me. I believe Spooph has also had work done by her.

I think Jim (TFOG) has a guy he uses. Maybe drop him a line? :dunno:

I've been looking for a shop to reshape/lower/recover my stock seat. Thanks for the info :)

I had this guy re-cover the seat on my Aprilia SR50 for about $75:
