Almost took the Transalp out but the roads are just a touch slick in the neighborhoods. I slid through the first stop sign and almost through the second one. Very very heavy snow though. I wouldn't be surprised to see trees and certainly branches down. Temps are hovering at 32* here in Longmont so it won't take much to turn the roads into ice. Our power kicked out some time in the night but it came back on (I know because of the PF indicator on the stove).

Ride carefully.

Trying to decide if I'm heading home from work this morning on the GS. Things aren't bad here in Centennial yet, but doesn't take long.

There was no way that a regular street bike could have made my commute this morning. The interstate was still way to slushy and Boulder was just snowy. At least the side streets were. You'd have to have some pretty big balls to attempt it.

Good luck if you ride, the roads are only gonna get worse

In lone tree the slush was just starting to form when I left for work. Highways are kind of slushy too, people going 55 max

In Aurora it was a joke. Snow piled up on the cars but melted once it hit the pavement. Not to slick but slushy for sure. Just waiting for the commute home tonight if it keeps up it might accumulate a little bit around the city. Prob 3-4 inches tops.

Stupidity prevails and the ride home on two wheels was uneventful. For those stupid enough to continue on two during this weather, keep plenty of distance, keep it slow, and if you slip don't panic stop. Be safe out there.

Yep, looks to be 3"-4" inches out there. I'm at Evans/I25 area, spent last night drinking.

I rode this morning. There were a few puddles from last nights storm, but I powered through em like a bawce. Bone chilling 65 to boot.

My commute was pretty rough, I almost tripped over the dog on my way to the couch.

Ahh, sabbatical.
