What this means is, take in old gear, have it assessed on the spot - and they will buy it on the spot or give you store credit on the value. Granted, you may get non-ideal valuations, but for those of you looking to upgrade immediately it may be worth it.
Also - TODAY ONLY - Manfrotto is crediting $75 on ANY purchase of their gear (tripod, head, etc.) if you bring in an old tripod. It can be ANY old tripod (full size - not tabletops) and it can be in ANY condition. I had a POS crummy old junker tripod in my car that I use for off-camera lighting. Brought it in - got $75 on the spot - and left with an aluminum 190XPROB (http://www.amazon.com/Manfrotto-190XPROB-Camera-Tripod-Imaging/dp/B000MQFQU6) for $108 after tax!!!! It's smaller than my carbon 055, but it will compliment it nicely as a travel unit.
