Not very smart but good on him for kicking the kids ass. I've had a gun pulled on me more then once and even been shot at. It's not a good feeling and unless I'm armed, I'm doing what I can to get away.

Albeit a bit slow and clumsy, good tactics employed by the skater kid. He used leverage to keep the firearm away from his body and managed to disarm the attacker when diffusional talks did not work. Good on the skater kids for pinning his friend down in the background too.

I had a pretty wild youth. One such instance I was about 14 walking home from shooting pool and had a car full of "gangstas" pull up next to me and put a shotgun to my head. It was a less then pleasant experience.

He did get off lucky, no boards to the head. I've been in a similar situation when I was younger and it wasn't fun but three skaters with boards against five guys with two bats equals no trip to the hospital.
