11/24/11 quick ride

So thinking of doing a quick ride tomorrow to enjoy the holiday plus gorgeous weather before heading back home to enjoy time with our families, anyone welcome. Pace will be slow for a smooth and fun cruise. Route to be determined as a group for those who decide to join. Meet at Moco at 11 am KSU 11:30. I'll be by the air compressor.

All good man, its winter bro so no fast pace. Even during summer the rides I lead are easy paced. I like my insurance rates and a clean driving record but making it home in one piece most of all lol

Made it back in one piece in 3rd and 4th gear entire way. AJ is a good soul and was riding pilot the whole way back with me. Lost a couple more bolts along the way, but John's wrench kept me going lol

That really sucked about that bolt for sure. Lock tight ftmfw! Glad everyone made it home good, kudos to A.J for helping out and John for having the only tool kit with a fitting tool. Went all the way to Nederlands, came down boulder canyon and just an awesome ride.

Good, thankfully. The bolt that held my gear shifter lever popped off somewhere and I looked down doing close to 90-100 to find no gear lever. lol. John's idea of using a spare bolt from a nonexistent passenger foot peg got me home.

I am thinking of taking the dog and car for a day trip. Anyone got any suggestions? I have already done all the usual suspects - RMNP, Pikes Peak, Berthoud, Gunnison, etc. etc. Something new and within say 200 mile round trip?
