Beer Favor!

I have a dilemma and I NEED your help!

Since I know we have a few beer connoisseurs on the board, I would like to ask you a favor. There is a beer that was released this month and has been in Colorado less than a week. It is completely sold out with every store I've checked with. At Total Beverage in Westminster it sold out in less than 24 hours. :shocked: However, I know that there are still some out there. My friend found two bottles at Argonaut last night (the last two bottles).

So my favor: If you are at your local beer store, and you know that they cater to some microbrews, do me a favor and ask if they have this beer. I'm willing to go to that store that same day, or I'll even buy it off of you.

Salsa, I have never been turned on this much by another man. You don't even realize how happy you just made me. I've been waiting for this beer for so long, and then I couldn't get any. It may sound dumb, but I was crushed.

What time are you going this afternoon? Any chance you can PM or text me before you go? (3oh3 250 707one) I'm trying to get a hold of my collector friend and see if he wants to just drive down there tonight. Otherwise, I'll have my panniers on Sunday. :eyebrows:

:cheers:Yes they do! Obsidian and Black Butte are my FAVORITE beers!!! You should look for "The Stoic" from Deschutes. Also about $12 a bottle. If you like Belgians, its very belgian and KILLER!

The only downside is that they only wanted to sell us one per day. After talking to the beer guy and manager we were able to get the thumbs up for buying two, but I didn't get the four that I wanted. Oh well, I'm more than happy that I was able to get some at all.

Plus, the guy mentioned that he had two Stoic's left. So I figured since I couldn't get my four bottles, why not get something else good too? So Justin, if you're wrong, I'm never going to forgive you! :mrt:

back in oct ...during the beer fest a so call beer expert says try Ayunger. Has anyone ever had a sip? Is it really good?

I've had Ayunger on several occasions. It was quite enjoyable each time. You will want to check the aging though, anything less then an 18 will be trouble. I've also had Aolder a couple times and it was enjoyable as well.
