I first saw this some 10+ years ago in an engineering mag, thought I'd look it up again. I'm going to try and create a different version/variant in Pro/E for fun one day.

Pretty cool stuff. When I first was introduced to the
mobius ring, I had an epiphany that that is where the
symbol for infinity came from.

I'm not sure, but I think the symbol came first. But, the coincidence is unmistakable, is it not? :)

Mobius Strip-- August Mobius, 1858
