2011 Year in Review

In the past we've done threads where people post up pics/videos of riding they did the previous year. I haven't seen that lately and thought I'd do one for 2011.

The St. Patty's Day Parade has become a CSC tradition. I've ridden in it since 2008.

Then race season came along. I had a decent year riding in Formula 40 with good improvements in lap times but battled a few injuries.

In June, I took off one morning on an all-day ride out to the Black Canyon near Gunnison:

In September 4 of us rode down to Durango for the night and back. The first day was 7 hours and 300 miles in the rain/snow/sleet and was probably the worst ride I've done. The next day it was clear skies and sunshine and was one of the best rides I've done :)

After that, I rode Highway 50 one last time and ended the year with my only bike ticket. I actually just mailed that in the other day.

I have no GoPro, I never stop long enough to futz with a camera or dig out my phone, and while I realize I've probably missed out on literally hundreds if not thousands of awesome pics over the years, I still can't be bothered with it.

I took something like 300+ pics on my trip across country after college, and I've never looked at any of them since, same for Japan and Germany.

Still, despite my apparent lack of love taking them, I do enjoy looking at some of the great pics others here take, so keep 'em coming...

Got out of bikes in end of 08', still had both of them in 09', but sold them both during 2010. Sold whatever little of my race equipment.... Didn't miss them or the bikes, mid 2011 though, got the bug....again.

Spent the last couple of months planning on the 2012 MRA season along with bike nights, shows, etc, as I am on a strict budget. Somehow barely managing it so far haha. Few parts acquired, still trying to figure out how to get the rest done/received.
