Looking to see if any of you techies have an old comp with said ram in it that you would be willing to part with. Looking for 2-4 gigs. Let me know if you have any of this ancient ram laying around.

I don't have any, but I am thinking that you might want to find out if your motherboard will support more than 2gb of PC3200 (DDR400) anyway. Another roadblock will occur with the operating system you are using. If you're using XP or another 32bit OS, you'll be lucky to see more than 3GB as recognizable by the OS. Generally speaking, a system of that age should run perfectly with 2GB on Win98 or XP. If you're trying to run Vista or 7, it sounds like high time for an upgrade.

I think he is running windows 95.

I still have install disks for Win 3.11...

I looked through my box-o-memory, no DDR400 here. I may have some in a static bag at the house somewhere, I'll have t look when I get home.

I've got a bunch sitting somewhere in my place. Several gig sticks. Shoot me a pm and remind me to look when I get off work tonight.
