Poor guy, his owner didn't realize the dog was not in the elevator when it closed. Pulls the bulldog up off the ground and luckily the leash snapped

Damn that dog is lucky, and honestly the owner is a fucking moron who should have been paying more attention. I bet hes the type of jackass that sets the car seat on top of the car and forgets.

At least the owner got a broken hand/wrist out of it as a good reminder to pay the fuck attention!

I think the punishment fit the crime... The video showed the dog getting distracted by a woman getting off another elevator. If I had to guess, 99% of the time, the dog would have been right there with the owner on the elevator... but it's a dog, and a shiny object...

It's fortunate that the leash broke, the dog looked no worse for wear and the owner gets a hurt hand for not paying closer attention to his pup.

All's well that ends well.

As a owner of threee bulldogs through the years I can say they have great tolerance for pain and I doubt it hurt the bulldog at all. I just wonder why this guy never just let go of the leash or didn't see his dog was not in.

^^ I was going under the assumption that he had the leash wrapped around his wrist. The video showed him being pulled down and smashing his head into the door. I don't think he failed to let go, I think he couldn't.

Also, did you notice the floor numbers. That was an express elevator. It went up 30+ floors before he could stop it. There weren't 40 buttons on that panel.

I made a dog run and put in gravel. Trained them to only go there,so it pretty easy to rake up. Thing I hate the most is dog hair in the house, but we deal with it. Now I have a rule one dog per person; I have one (white bulldog in pic) and girl has one (Austrailian Terrier)
