Sold my Slash because it wasn't extreme enough to replace my ZX-14 and picked up an XO-1.

More info on the XO-1 can be found here: http://youtu.be/R0DMa8seF9w

Had to take these before the bike's buyer picks it up.

What kind of remote range do those things have? Can't see it being any fun unless it's around 1/4 mile or so.

I see the site says EXPERTS ONLY...so your an expert at RC vehicles? Did not know a thing existed...LOL I used to love RC, but that was AS A KID.

However it would make a great video to strap a GoPro on and take that baby down I25.

I should take that back making fun of the price....as a kid

One of my cars cost: $250, the remote was another $200 plus figure 10 battery's at $20 a pop = $200 my charger was $120, the performance motor was $60-$80

Plus another car I had was also $200, control was $150

Another car was $100, and a $100 remote

A tank was like $200 plus a $100 remote...LOL

So yes...not to mention misc shit like tires, broken parts, $80 bearing kits vs the plastic ones back then.

So yeah I had a lot tied up...still have all those...tucked away in boxes in the attic...LOL Yes I was spoiled as a kid.

I don't know yet. I am not in a rush to drive it as I need to put some protective stuff on it so I can minimize some of the damage it will see. Trying not to put anymore money into it this month though because I am already over my budget for this new hobby. I will post some videos up when I finally get it up and running.

Do they have smooth track in Denver that people take these kind of cars (low-profile non-offroad R/C) on? I remember ages ago, they had a big outdoor track setup in the Target parking lot near Colorado Blvd. & Alameda.

The list:
JR XS3 Pro Radio with FM digital receivers in all 3 vehicles.
Storm Nitro 1/8 scale Truggy (Rebuilt, TWICE, no thanks to some rough racing conditions and cheap plastic parts from Storm. Various upgrades like JR Metal Servos and a servo saver to prevent the massive front tires from chewing up the gears. Works great as a snow plow with a small shovel put on the front.)
Ofna Nitro Pro LX .25 1/8 scale with tons of Kyosho Upgrades and JR Servo upgrades (3rd Place winner at Championship round of RMRC off Holly and Country Line several years ago)
Tamiya Coppermix 1/10 scale Electric Drifter (build from scratch. needs new tires.)
