Bad news for Alpinestars boots wearers.
I got an email from motorcyclesuperstore.com that the Magnesium toe sliders have been discontinued. The plastic ones are still available.
The magnesium ones are a little more expensive ($20 versus $14) but last 3-4x as long.
If any shops in Colorado still have some for the SMX Plus boots, let me know, I'll buy a few.
I ordered some sets off eBay but they sent me the plastic ones instead (despite charging me the extra $$$ for the magnesium ones).
