The 50th Annual Denver St. Patrick's Day Parade takes place on Saturday, March 17th... this will be the CSC's 11th year riding in the parade!

Despite what politicians are saying, we're not out of the recession yet, so we don't have sponsorship to cover ALL of our costs, however TFOG Wheelsports (http://www.cosportbikeclub.org/forums/showthread.php?p=458518#post458518) has once again stepped up to help cover half of them. :applause:

*** UPDATED SPONSOR INFO ***
High Plains Raceway (http://www.highplainsraceway.com/) and the MRA (http://mra-racing.org/) have both stepped forward to assist TFOG in sponsoring us for the event. After much consideration, it has been decided that the sponsorship will be split evenly between the 3 of them. Money already collected will still go towards t-shirts. The extra money from the additional sponsorship will go towards refreshments (water/beer/etc.) so we can remain hydrated in the staging area before the parade. Any money left over after the parade will go towards the annual CSC BBQ this summer.

What this means:
Cost to participate in the parade will be $15/rider, and $5/passenger. Each participant will receive a commemorative t-shirt designed specifically for this year's parade (to be worn during the parade, over gear if so desired).

$10 of the rider entry fee (and 100% of the passenger entry fee) is non-refundable as all of that money is going towards the t-shirts, which you will receive regardless if you actually ride in the parade or not.
Complete details will be distributed by email to registered participants.

As in the past, our entry is limited to 30 bikes, and these numbers will once again be filled on a sign-up basis, however, because payment is involved, sign up will be a 2-step process:

The list is now full. If you are still interested in riding in the parade, send me a PM or reply to this thread, and I will add your name to the Standby list.

Reply to this thread if you are serious about participating (this includes braving cold temps in the morning :cold: )
Click here to pay (http://www.cosportbikeclub.org/forums/ParadeSignup.php) your entry fee(s) and select t-shirt size(s).
Note: if the t-shirt is to be worn over gear, please take that into consideration.
If the desired size is not listed, select the closest size available and contact me with the details so we can best accommodate you.

EDIT: If PayPal is not convenient for you, send me a PM and we'll try and work something else out.

Important: Participants must carry proof of insurance - parade marshals may be asking for it. If you can't provide it, you won't be allowed to participate in the parade.

Post-parade activities haven't been made yet, but in the past, we've usually ended up at Breckenridge Brewery (http://www.breckbrew.com/food/pubdenver.html), located along the parade route at 2220 Blake St.

For cases where one rider is paying for themself and a second rider, just use the form twice, for 2 solo riders, and put the other rider's name in the Special instructions to the seller section.

There will (more than likely) be a breakfast/pre-staging meetup. Last year (and the year before that IIRC) it was at the Village Inn at 400 West 48th Ave., Denver (http://g.co/maps/p45aw).

... I forgot to mention that, in their own way, Faster Motorsports (http://www.fastermotorsports.net/home.php?cat=) is sponsoring us as well - due to light rail construction, there is no public parking available to parade participants in the Coors Field parking lots. Faster happens to be located less than a mile away from the parade staging area, and they have graciously agreed to let us use their parking lot for pre-staging, and to park any vehicles that won't actually be in the parade (trucks/trailers/etc.). 8)

If I remember last year correctly, and more than likely I'm not, but my bike fell over on the trailer at 7:26ish in the parking lot of VI so we met at VI at 730AM, Spooph called and said he forgot to tighten some sort of bolt and Sasch had to go get him at 8:30 and we headed out to the parade parking area by 9. Hopefully this year will be just as awesome although I think Sasch is going to put a no dick on the back seat rule in place this year.

Hey csc
I have a friend who details bikes for 40 bucks each as a group rate for me. But to get this deal we need atleast 25 bikes to get this deal. He normally charges 80 per bike. He can have all bikes done by sat before the parade. I was late to sign up for the ride but get your bike ready for the parade. Its a1 time deal so pm me or call steve at 951 990 2186. He will do it while you wait.

No one said anything about being street legal and carrying registration, just insurance.

Important: Participants must carry proof of insurance - parade marshals may be asking for it. If you can't provide it, you won't be allowed to participate in the parade.

thanks for sharing guys, too bad you put music in over the high-revving part in front of union station. By far the best noise from the bikes and the croud but still nice footage! and no you cant have my R1 lol

I was going to throw in some of the revving but it didnt capture that well on the gopro :(

When you are ready to sell her, you just let me know
