This video brought back memories of the day that I got my wisdom teeth pulled out. I woke up and didn't believe the dentist had started the surgery much less was done. Then I felt the gauze in my mouth!

Fore some reason this video had me laughing this morning:

Ha! Doubt it. I've always just had them pull it. The numbing needle freaks me out because I hate needles, but never thought I had to be knocked out to get something pulled.

What's in my mouth?

Yea, I just did the normal numbing stuff for all my wisdom teeth too. No need for getting knocked out. Didn't hurt at all, but that crunching sound of them crushing my teeth will always stay with me.

Oh, and I passed on the pain meds after too... that wasn't the best idea

When I had mine taken out, I told them to skip the local and just pull em out with a pair of plyers, I had brought myself.

The dentist asked "Are you ready?" and I replied "Are you?"

I do. Notice that it's on the back of my arm, where I don't have to watch the needles.

David goes to dentist revisited.

All of my wisdom teeth were impacted so I had to have surgery. They put me out but I came to with about 20-30 min left. It was a pretty miserable experience.

I was like 13 or so when I had 4 teeth pulled. I didn't get knocked out but I got 4 shots into my gums. I couldn't feel my mouth for awhile and tried to drink from a soda can, which resulted in spilling it over myself =P

Yep, mine were all the way through and fit fine...I did not get them out till I was like 24 for the Uppers which the dentist just pulled out like a tooth and only because I had a cavity.

The lowers I was put out I think I was 27, my dentist was afraid it looked like the root on them might cause an issue so off to the specialist I went. I simply woke up, wife took me to the car, I got in, fell asleep, woke up to walk inside at home, sat on the sofa turned the TV on went back to sleep....LOL

Funny how drugs effect people differently. My one Grandmother woke up after knee surgery punched the nurse, yelled the Nazi's are coming and yelled out for her husband to get the gun (he was long dead at that point). LOL
