According to the weather forecast, this coming Sunday (11 Mar.) looks like it could be a nice day for a ride with temperature in mid-60Fs. Bear Creek was in good condition last Sunday. Maybe we could ride from Morrison to Estes Park if the roads are clean enough. Is anyone interested?

FWIW it sounds like a few folks are going to meet at the ThorCo on 120/25 at 9-9:30 ksu 10 and ride to lyons, think I'm gonna tag along on that route.

I rode from Morrison to Ned last Tuesday. Bear creek and CC parkway were good. HWY 119 from Blackhawk to Ned sucks. Rivers of snowmelt and lots of gravel in the turns. If I knew someone was going to post up a ride this weekend. I wouldn't have drop my bike off at the shop for service.

Nice work with the ticket dismissal. That was an awesome day until the very end. Devils Gulch was probably the highlight for me. I always check my helmet now for critters after that fucking bee stung my ear after lunch.

To make the most of the day I want to leave MoCo by 9:30 and then travel north to Estes Park. Plans are flexible depending on input from others. I’m hoping that the recent warm weather will leave the roads in good shape. I’m just out to have a good time and will be riding at a moderate pace.

You know with DST starting the 11th, sunset won't be until 7:05pm and it's still gonna be pretty cold at 9:30am. Even Sash's ride starting at 10 seems too early for this time of year. I'm planning on riding and want to hit 7 (just heard that p2p from Ned to 7 is a mess). Maybe 93 and 36 to Lyons and then run up and down 7 a few times. I may see you guys up there, but I won't be at moco at 9:30 or thorco at 10.

Sashwho's ride is the one departing from Thorco which is the Conoco gas station on the southwest corner by the RTD station. These guys are leaving from Moco which is the Conoco off Morrison and C-470.

I'm shocked you didn't get the scapegoat ticket. We started beating up 7 at about 11am and you could sit at the bottom of the canyon and hear bikes screaming up and down. I was sure that based on this and the fact that the highway was deserted of cars, someone would get the brunt of it.
