I figured he would go to Jacksonville...

According to Mike Klis (@MikeKlis) of the Denver Post, “Elway is not trading Tebow because he doesn’t think he can play. He’s trading Tebow so Manning doesn’t have to deal with circus.”

I completely agree with this... I'll bet Peyton told them this. He doesn't want/need Denver's fair weather fans screaming for Tebow every time he doesn't complete a pass.

Sounds like they are trading one circus for another circus. You can tell me Peyton wouldn't prefer his own marching elephants...

It's about the same distance from SA Field to DU campus.

just heard on the radio that the deal may fall through, due to some legalities in the contract and the Rams may be getting him and the donk's would end up w/ 2 draft picks instead of one.

There might be a snag in the trade, apparently there is some $5mil clause about salary or something

Nick_Ninja
Wed Mar 21st, 2012, 03:35 PM
One league source said he believes Tim Tebow trade with Jets will go through. But contractual issues now complicating it. Jets-Broncos agreed to Tim Tebow trade before Denver asked NY to pay back portion of bonuses and salary already paid to Tebow. No deal yet.

Either way, if the Jets deal falls through, he will still be gone. Someone else can start their Tebow timers, I'm done with it.

So where is all of the Tebow leaving jokes?

Best I've heard so far is Taylor Swift got mad at Tim because she found out he wasn't a virgin anymore after being screwed over by the Broncos...

see below from USA Today

NEW YORK - That didn't take long. NFLShop.com is already selling Tim Tebow Jets jerseys online (http://www.9news.com/news/article/258093/188/Tim-Tebows-Jets-jersey-zeroing-out-online#) for $84.99. But as with buying Peyton Manning's new jersey with the Denver Broncos there's a catch.
The Tebow jersey now selling online is made by Reebok. Nike takes over as the NFL's (http://www.9news.com/news/article/258093/188/Tim-Tebows-Jets-jersey-zeroing-out-online#) official outfitter in April, and there's rumors swirling the Swoosh might significantly alter the look of some uniforms.
So if you want to be the first one in the office or on campus (http://www.9news.com/news/article/258093/188/Tim-Tebows-Jets-jersey-zeroing-out-online#) with a replica Tebow Jets jersey or other gear, go for it. But it won't be the one worn by Tebow with the Jets this coming season.
The NFL's online shop (http://www.9news.com/news/article/258093/188/Tim-Tebows-Jets-jersey-zeroing-out-online#) also posts a disclaimer that Tebow's jersey number is subject to change - and that they won't ship until 5-10 business days after he picks his number and it's been officially assigned by the club.

<old bump, sorry but new news>

Damn, his own teammates not happy about losing Sanchez I guess. Feel bad for Tebow, he's a class act all the way, imo:

Sanchez sucks anyways so what else do they have to loose if tebow comes in anyways, if Sanchez had to be replaced due to injury or whatever else the reason is they have to put up with him playing, if they choose to quit on him that shows about how much they even care to win or at least try... Pathetic

Cat118!
Thu Nov 15th, 2012, 02:55 PM
good or bad QB, he is a good guy and its very trashy for the Jets to talk sh*t about their own teammate publicly.
Like or not he is your teammate... and the guy you are going to rely on if anything happened to Sanchez.
I don't care who sucks and who is great... very unclassy Jets!!

very unclassy Jets!!

The Jets, from the coach on down, are defined by a lack of class. All they do is talk shit and get their asses handed to them year after year. It's a shame that Tebow ended up there.

Thu Nov 15th, 2012, 06:04 PM
I really think that they are more afraid of how they're being looked at now due to the fact that they will be playing for a Christian quarterback... Oh man what will the people think of them now? since of course to be Christian is the biggest crime known to life these days. I will never understand why people are so judgemental of Tebow just for the simple fact that he stands up for what he believes in, the media clowns are the ones that make him look like a martyr.

Reminds me of the Raiders, ZERO CLASS, all trash.

Agreed Madvlad, he's not pushing his ideology on anyone or annoying with it. It's the MEDIA that perpetuated that whole thing, as if he should be looked down upon for his beliefs. He's done more good for charities than any of those media jackasses.
