saw one of these disgusting bikes on ride home from Lyons yesterday on I-25

major design fail in my opinion!

mehhh... to each their own.

Everyone I've talked to who owns them, love them. comfort, power, "unique" styling...

Not my style, but more power to 'em... No everyone can own a cookie cutter I-4 from Japan.

If manufactures don't try to think outside the box then every sport bike would have a typical Japanese front end or look like a Hardley.

Just imagine how boring it would be if everyone did. We'd all drive the same type of car, live in the same area, dress alike, got for the same women, buy the same dogs, eat the same food, etc. Sounds horrible to me...

I'd have one of these if budget allowed! I like the way they look. Last summer I heard one go by with Termi's and know if/when I get one it's being ordered that way. Of course, I fall into the same camp as liking the looks on the S1000rr and the DRZ400SM. I need a larger garage and a huge bonus.

I don't like pictures of them, but I do like them in person. And they do seem to be comfortable from the limited sitting in showrooms I've done.

I dont understand the appeal for such a bike really imho. to each their own..i like the beauty of a superbike thats all..;)

Why the hatred for the Diavel?? It's not a sportbike, it's not intended to be a sportbike. It is not even a streetfighter, it is a power cruiser - think Star Warrior or VMax. In that category it smokes the competition. I would not want it as my only bike but if I could afford to have several bikes it would definitely be one of them

Whatever it is, I would ride it. Although I'd have to go to town with a dremel on that plastic part over the back wheel.

Seems to handle pretty well at higher speeds. :dunno:

It's not quite my thing, but, I've read it actually handles really well, surprisingly (I saw the Duc riders getting sideways on it so it'll outhandle most riders), and it's supposed to be fairly comfortable, so, I could see that as a second or 3rd bike. Definately better than a "cruiser" or V-Rod. and, actually, I kinda like the way it looks. A lot of nice Industrial Design cues there.

I mean, I saw a Honduh the other day that almost made me puke......and that's BEFORE I saw that it was Sash on it! :)
