At cold starts in the morning the bike starts normally, no issues. At work it's exposed to the sun during the day and when I am about to turn her over then it takes also about 5 seconds of cranking to start and then it starts very poorly/sputtering but after about a block of riding it starts riding fine. I was in stop and go traffic while going to run some errands after work and then taking off the line the bike would sputter but not die, so I would have to rev it a bit high and slip the clutch out to get it going... After I cleared traffic and had more constant speed and all then I came to a stop at a light, took off the line and the bike acted normally, went to have dinner with my friend for his birthday and the bike ran fine all throughout the night with no issues..... Bleh!... I just had the throttle bodies synchronized, the plugs done with the CR9EIX's and a coolant flush. All the bike has is a K&N filter which is also clean with not too much oil as I know that can damage MAF sensors, etc... What crosses my mind is the fact that it only happens when the bike is at stop and go traffic or exposed to the sun. I hear the fuel pump priming too and the EXUP makes it's cycling like it should too so no idea there either, running out of options based on my minor experience here haha

Could it be related to that ECM/ECU recall/TSB deal? I also do get pretty bad lag and flat spots at around 4-6k that it's a noticeable delay when I roll the throttle... Just this shit is mind boggling and it's pissing me off a bit.

Any help is appreciated guys and girls!

My 05 had stoplight problems intermittently, not exactly like you describe but the solution is easy enough.

Adjust the EXUP cables. They stretch/get out of adjustment and can cause poor running conditions, even intermittently. Worth looking into...

All maintenance is up to date, will have the EXUP looked at and see what's up. Also been doing some reading and research and seems like the TPS on these is quite common to go out. Going to call Colorado powersports about the ECM/ECU TSB/Recall deal.
